Build Your Own Family Experience

We know that many families might not be able to come to a Willow campus to celebrate COH with us, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out! Here are some fun things that you can do at home with your family and build your own COH Family Experience, including learning more about our partners, cooking a new recipe, making a craft, and listening to fun music. Schedule a Family Night on your calendar and plan to do one or all of the things on this list. (Oh, and don’t forget to tag us on Social Media if you post any pictures!)

Did you get a chance to check out the interactive map and watch some videos from our partners?  After you’ve explored that map a little bit, it’s time to test your knowledge with a game of Kahoot!  We created two versions of this trivia game – one for Kids and one for Students.  You can play one game or both depending on the ages of your family members.  All you need is a device connected to the internet (phone or computer) for everyone who wants to play, or you can use just one device to play as a whole team.  Click the link below, or open an internet browser and go to and enter the PIN.

We all need to eat, so why not cook something new with your family from a recipe from another country?  Here are some recipes that are native to countries where our Global partners are located.  We’ve also included some allergy info to help you navigate what would work for your family.

Get creative! Below you can download and print coloring pages of the flags from where our partners are – Chicago, plus 10 countries. You can color the flags or decorate with tissue paper or whatever you have around your house. Bonus – you can decorate all the flags, and when you are finished string them together in a banner and hang it up in your house. Whenever you see the banner, remember to pray for our partners in these countries.

We’ve created a fun Spotify playlist so that you can listen to songs from our global partner countries. In Spotify, search for “Celebration of Hope 2021”. Have this fun music playing while you cook or create, or host a family dance party.
